Privacy Policy
BenchGrip.eu is a small product website. We collect only what we need to answer your question about buying a BenchGrip towel, we share nothing with third parties, and we run no trackers.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Adrijan Cigoj, Ozeljan, 5261 Šempas, Slovenija (“BenchGrip”, “we”). Contact for anything in this policy: adrijan@benchgrip.eu.
2. What we collect and why
Enquiry form
When you send the enquiry form we receive: your name, email address, who you are buying for, country, the quantity if you give one, and your message if you write one. We also record the time you sent it, the language of the page, and the version of this policy you agreed to.
- Purpose: to reply to you about how to buy BenchGrip, and to send you one automatic confirmation email, at the address you gave, saying we received your enquiry.
- Legal basis: steps at your request before a possible purchase (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Retention: 12 months after you send it, then it is deleted automatically. We delete it sooner if you ask.
The form is optional. Nothing else on the site asks for personal data.
Bot protection
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Your browser sends technical signals (such as network and browser information) to Cloudflare, who runs the check for us. We use it for one purpose only, keeping the form free of spam and abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We do not receive or store those signals.
Technical data
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data such as your IP address to deliver the site securely and to block attacks. We do not use it to identify or profile you, and we do not keep our own copy.
3. No trackers, no ads, no sharing
- We use no analytics, advertising, social-media or other tracking tools or cookies.
- We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for their own purposes.
- We do not make automated decisions or profile you.
4. Who processes data on our behalf
We run the site on Cloudflare, Inc. and its group companies. Cloudflare provides the hosting, the database that stores enquiries, and the bot check. Our email provider, Namecheap, Inc. (Private Email service), hosts the mailbox that receives your enquiry: the website sends it there over an encrypted connection. Both act as our processors, only on our instructions and under data processing terms. Enquiries are stored in a database kept in the European Union. Where any processing happens outside the European Economic Area, they rely on lawful transfer safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Namecheap’s privacy policy.
5. Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no tracking cookies. It stores small pieces of data in your browser only for these reasons:
- Your privacy choice (name
bg_consent): remembers whether you clicked “Remember my language” or “Essential only”, so we do not ask you again. This is strictly necessary and needs no consent. - Your language (name
bg_lang): remembers whether you prefer English or Slovenian, so the site opens in your language. We store it only if you allow it. Choose “Essential only” and it is never saved.
Both live only on your device, are never sent to a server, and are not used to follow you around. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the page footer, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to: see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our using it, or give you a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting what we did before. Write to adrijan@benchgrip.eu. We will answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Slovenia that is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), or the authority in your own EU country.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Enquiries are stored in a private database that is not reachable from the internet, and each enquiry is sent to our mailbox over an encrypted (TLS) connection. We limit access to the data to the person who answers enquiries.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we update the date above and, where needed, ask you again. Questions about the Terms of Use are covered in the Terms of Use.
